First Thursdays: On the first Thursday of every month, we go to EnergyBar at Greentown Labs, one of the largest cleantech and energy incubators in the world.
Third Thursdays: Come join us to get to know other Club members in a relaxed atmosphere. Our Third Thursdays event is generally open to students interested in energy and the environment from across the Harvard and Boston area graduate programs.
Small Group Dinners: About once per month, we get together in smaller groups to discuss a topic
Newsletter: Our weekly newsletter shares information about events and job opportunities, while keeping members abreast of the latest developments.
Energy Venture Fellows: The fellows program allows interested E&E club members to engage in short-term projects with emerging and established energy companies that are interested in partnering with HBS students.
Harvard Innovation Lab: The President's Challenge Demo Day (venture challenge) has a topic focusing on startup ideas in the energy and environment ecosystem. The i-Lab provides incredible resources to launch a new business, while E&E Club community and education events can help students identify partners and advisors. Think broadly — IoT and software businesses can solve major energy problems. @tagup, an HBS alum startup
Boston has a robust and growing ecosystem for energy entrepreneurship, encompassing everything from Smart Infrastructure to Software-as-a-Service and business model innovation.
Energy Symposium: The annual Energy Symposium at HBS is one of the largest student-run conferences, attracting over 700 attendees working on the world's major energy challenges.
Speaking Events: Both the Boston ecosystem and the Cambridge community attract innovators across the energy and environment space. We bring these leaders to campus to discuss the latest opportunities they see with our members and the wider HBS community.
Company Treks: Occurring typically throughout the Winter Term, E&E members will travel on separate treks throughout San Francisco, Houston, Boston, and (historically) Copenhagen and Iceland to visit leading companies in those cities, tour their facilities, and talk with their leadership teams.
Club Resume Book: As an E&E Club member, your resume will be included in the E&E Club resume book that is requested by the leading employers in the field.
